Description
Chinese
coins have a very special nuance in Feng Shui. They represent
the union between Heaven, Earth and Man. The square hole
in the middle of the coin represents the Earth, the round
shape portray Heaven and when the coin is held by man, it
combines the cosmic trinity of luck known as Heaven , Earth
and Man.
According to Feng Shui masters and especially, the world
renowned author on Feng Shui, Lillian Too , the essence
of the coins are activated by tying them together with a
red thread. Chinese coins essentially represent auspicious
money luck. The meanings of the coins are different depending
on the way they are being activated.
The above method is called the 9 Coin Tassel method. Coins
by itself represent potential money luck. 9 Coins tied in
a circular manner, with 3 pairs (6 coins) , interlocking
3 single coins represent the matrimony of Heaven-Earth-Man
(the 3 individual coins) and the 6 emotions of man (the
3 pairs of coins that hold the 3 single coins together).
The 3 pairs (6 coins) represent the six emotions of man,
love, fear, anger, joy, suspicion and desire which is believe
to govern a man's wealth making capabilities.
It is believed that by tying the 9 coins in this special
manner, a man is able to harness his wealth because he is
able to control his 6 emotions with the power invoke through
the cosmic trinity of Heaven, Earth and Man. Only by controlling
one's emotions can one succeed in life!
Why 9 Coins?

and the Center. 9 represents the 8 Trigrams of the Bagua
and the Center TaiChi. 9 is the largest singular number.
